Mike Golic

Mike Golic has served as co-host of ESPN Radio’s morning drive show since 1998, and as half of the uber-popular Mike & Mike since 2000. Golic is the ex-jock and is beloved by fans who view him as personable, loveable, approachable and a real “man’s man”. Golic joined ESPN in 1995 as an NFL studio analyst on NFL 2Night, and later on NFL Live. He has also worked as a commentator for ESPN/ABC college football games, as well as Monday Night Football broadcasts. Golic has accrued a multitude of achievements and awards over the years including landing on The New York Times Best Sellers list, receiving a Sports Emmy, and being inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame. Golic is a nine-year NFL veteran, having played defensive tackle for the Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. During his seven years in Philadelphia, he began his television career with a weekly segment on The Randall Cunningham Show. Golic was born in Willowick, Ohio and went on to graduate from the University of Notre Dame. He served as captain of the football team during his senior season and also wrestled for the Irish. He is married to wife Christine, and their three children also went on to attend Notre Dame – his sons Mike Jr. and Jake both played football, while his daughter Sydney was a swimmer for the Irish.
