The 14th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festivall will be held in Old Sacramento on Saturday, March 13th.  The event will include a Celtic Festival in Waterfront Park, located at 1000 Front Street, from Noon-6pm featuring Irish music, dancing, food and a green beer garden.  A number of vendors will be on hand, event admission is free and parade starts from 2nd & L Streets at 1pm.  All Old Sacramento streets will be closed to traffic from 11am-3pm.  Visit www.oldsacramento.com for more information.

As the local and national 2010 car racing seasons gear up, NASCAR sanctioned All American Speedway in Roseville, which has released their schedule.  This years schedule includes: NASCAR Championship Whelen All American Late Models, Bombers, Modifieds, Street Stocks, USAC Spring Cars, Legends, USAC Midgets, WSRA, NCMA, Ford Focus Midgets and more.  The track opens for the season with a Play Day on Saturday, March 6th.  The first NASCAR Camping World West Series race will be on Saturday, March 27th and first NASCAR Championship Race will be held on Saturday, April 3rd.  For tickets, main gates open at 4pm on race days.  The Placer County Fair administration office is open for ticket sales Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.  The Speedway is located at 800 All America City Boulevard in Roseville.  Visit www.allamericanspeedway.com for more information.

The Sacramento Valley Scottish Games will be held at the Yolo County Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, April 24th and 25th.  Enjoy music from pipe bands to Celtic rock, highland and country dancing.  There will be Olympic style heavy athletics, sheep dog trials, historical reenactments, foods you won't find anywhere else and it's inexpensive.  Visit www.saccallie.org for more information.

The 2010 Niello Concours at Serrano will be held on Sunday, October 3rd from 10am-5pm at the Serrano Visitor's Center.  This event will bring together motor enthusiasts for this grand automobile show on the green, just 25 minutes from Sacramento.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Concours Foundation.  Parking is available on-site and shuttle service is available nearby from Oakridge High School.  The car placement starts at 7am, judging at 10am and the awards presentation at 3pm.  The Serrano Visitor's Center is located at 4525 Serrano Parkway in El Dorado Hills.
